BOND LEVY FACTS
 New Glide Fire Station
How much is the bond levy?
3,850,000
How many years is the bond levy for?
25 years
How much will it cost?
Many factors can affect individual homeowner’s costs, including current bond rates, value of your home and value of all the property in the Glide Fire Department taxing district. At this time we are ESTIMATING the cost to be .95 cents per thousand of assessed value. A homeowner with property valued at $150,000 would pay an additional $142.50 per year in property taxes. This is less than $12.00 per month or about 39 cents a day.
What will the funds be used for?
If the voters approve the tax levy the funds will be used to build a new fire station at our current site. The new station will have a total of twelve equipment bays, training rooms for volunteers, community meeting rooms, sleeping quarters for volunteers and office space for fire department business. Total square footage for the project is 16,000 sq/ft of which 8,000 sq/ft are equipment bays.
